Self-propel chairs have large rear wheels with a hand rim so the user can move themselves; the Winn 201 T transit chair has compact rear wheels and is designed to be pushed by an attendant. Transit chairs are lighter and more compact for narrow corridors and travel. If the user cannot self-propel, a transit or electric chair is usually the better fit.
